Initially Jeremy Prescott developed the Sacrifice and Remembrance Presentation, which received Heritage Lottery Funding, to support communities in their commemoration of the 100th anniversary of WW1. This presentation has been given to over 4,000 people and in response to requests from audiences he has since developed three more presentations to cover other aspects on this theme.
The moving themes of these presentations are not about the rights and wrongs of going to war or the conduct of war but how those who fought, with many making the ultimate sacrifice and showing extreme bravery, are commemorated and remembered.
He provides these presentations on a voluntary basis and apart from travel expenses makes no charge. Any donations received are forwarded to the Veterans Mental Health Charity “Combat Stress”.
